I liked the idea of being able to use this case as a stand also, but the fact that there was no closure on the folder edge to worry that the iPad wouldn’t be protected well enough. Also, whilst the main cover appeared to be leather, the binding wasn’t, and it was wider than the main part of the cover.

If you want a well made, classy looking case for your expensive I-pad then this is a good choice. If you are looking for something that acts as a stand, get something else.
The case adds to the weight but the I-pad feels well protected.
